PURPOSE:To avoid an imperfect contact resulting from the inflow of ink adhering on a discharge surface and the fouling of a terminal section for connection by forming in the terminal section a recessed section. CONSTITUTION:A recording head section 4 having an energy generating means is incorporated into a box body 2, and the terminal section 8 for connection of an electrode 7 for a signal is exposed to the base of a recessed section 6 shaped to the side face of the box body 2 to which the ink discharge openings 5 of the recording head section 4 are arrayed. On the other hand, an electric- signal supply member 10 with a projecting section 9 is disposed at the opposed position of the recessed section 6 in the mounting section of a recorder head unit 1, and the terminal section 12 of a connecting electrode 11 is introduced to the top face of the projecting section 9 in the electric-signal supply section 10 and exposed. |
