PURPOSE:To improve color developability of a silver halide color photographic sensitive material by allowing a 5-pyrazolone type Magenta dyestuff-forming coupler having a specified eliminated group at a coupling position to coexist with a specified high boiling org. solvent and dispersing the coupler in the solvent. CONSTITUTION:The title color photographic sensitive material contains a 5- pyrazolone type Magenta dyestuff-forming coupler having an eliminated group expressed by the formula I at a coupling position. The coupler coexists with at least one kind of high boiling org. solvents expressed by the formula II or III and is dispersed therein. In the formula I, each L1 and L2 is a methylene or an ethylene group; each (l) and (m) is zero or 1; R1 is an H atom, alkyl group. aryl group, or heterocyclic group; R2 is a group connecting with A through a C, O, N, or S atom; A is a C atom or an S atom; (n) is 1 when A is a C atom, and 1 or 2 when A is an S atom; B is a C, O, N, or S atom; X is an atomic group which forms a ring. In the formulas II and III, each R11 and R12 is an alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, aryl group, or heterocyclic group; each (m) and (n) is an integer 1-6. Thus, the color developability of a silver halide color photographic sensitive material is improved. |
