PURPOSE:To simply dissolve a hardly soluble inorg. salt in water, by treating said inorg. salt with water in the presence of an ion exchange resin. CONSTITUTION:5pts. or more, pref., 40pts. or more of an ion exchange resin (B), pref., a strong acidic cation exchange resin (e.g., one based on a styrenic or phenolic polymer and having a sulfone group bonded thereto) and a strong basic anion exchange resin (e.g., one obtained by adding a quaternary amine group to a base resin similar to the above-mentioned cation exchange resin as an exchange group) are added to 1pts. of a hardly soluble inorg. salt (A) (e.g., BaSO4 or CaSO4) and the resulting mixture is treated with water to dissolve the hardly soluble inorg. salt in water. A drawing is a graph showing specific conductivity, pH and a SO4 elution ratio when 0.5-10g of the strong acidic cation exchange resin was added to a composition prepared by charging 100mg of BaSO4 dried at 110 deg.C in 50ml of ultra-pure water. |
