PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a device and to prevent the solidification of a molten metal with a heater of a small capacity by using partially stabilized zirconia having specified heat conductivity and bending strength to form a heat insulating member to be interposed between a molten metal inflow port of a stationary die and the tip of an injection nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The injection nozzle 11 is fixed to the stationary die plate of a metallic mold and is connected to the stationary die 16 having the inflow port 15 for the molten metal by means of the heat insulating member 18 consisting of the partially stabilized zirconia of Y2O3-ZrO2 having a passage 12 for the molten metal. The heat conductivity of the heat insulating member 18 is made <=0.01(cal.cm<-1>.sec<-1>. deg.C<-1>) and the bending strength to >=60kgf/mm<2>.
