发明名称 MELTING-REDUCING REFINING METHOD FOR METALLIC OXIDE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To minimize residual unreduced oxides in slag by blowing excess carbon material having specified grain size and feed speed into a refining furnace from a bottom-blowing tuyere in making refined metals by melting and reducing metallic oxides. CONSTITUTION:In the refining surface equipped with the bottom-blowing tuyere, the carbon material is fed together with top-blown or bottom-blown oxygen by means of an inert carrier gas so that the metallic oxides are melted and reduced to form the refined metals. At this time, the grain size of the carbon material is adjusted to <=1mm and this carbon material is blown from the bottom-blowing tuyere into the furnace at a feed rate of >=0.5kg/t per minute by the amount in excess of that needed to melt and reduce the metallic oxides. In this way, slag formation is controlled to remove the occurrence of slopping, so that unreduced residue is minimized and the yield can be improved.</p>
