PURPOSE:To provide a manufacture of a liquid crystal high-molecular molded article whose modulus of elasticity is high, by a method wherein at the time of extrusion molding of a liquid crystal high-molecular material, an insoluble core material is drawn out through the inside of a nipple and the liquid crystal high-molecular material which is in a molten state is taken off while being made to run along the external circumference of the core material. CONSTITUTION:Pulling-down which is decided by a ratio between an extrusion speed of an extrusion machine 3 and a take-off speed of a winding machine is applied to a rod between the extrusion machine 3 and a cooling tank 5 at the time of molding. As stress works effectively upon a liquid crystal high- molecular material by a core material at the time of the pulling-down, orientation of a high-molecular chain is advanced and the same is held under a solid state without its orientation being mitigated through cooling of the cooling tank 5, the rod whose modulus of elasticity is high is obtained. |
