PURPOSE:To attain an efficient arrangement by displaying and arranging drawn lines, photographs and characters to the same screen of a graphic display. CONSTITUTION:Drawn lines, photographs and characters to be arranged are fetched from a drawn line input means 1, a photograph input means 2 and a character input means 3 respectively as digital data and applied to a processing means 5. The arrangement of these elements is respectively executed by a drawn line arranging means 10. A selecting means 7 selects any one among these arranging means to function the selected means. At that time, the drawn lines, photographs or characters to be arranged and an arrange instruction are displayed on the graphic display 4. Consequently, the operator can arrange characters by inputting the arrange instruction from an instruction input means 6.
