PURPOSE:To perform a reduction in size by lap winding a detecting coil to an exciting coil, and incorporating the function of position/speed detector in a brushless motor. CONSTITUTION:A detecting coil 28 is lap wound on an exciting coil 21 arranged in a stator, and the coil 28 generates an electromotive force by the variation in a magnetic flux of a permanent magnet upon rotation of a rotor. The electromotive force from the coil 28 is waveform-shaped by a waveform processor 56, differentiated, and a differentiation signal is fed to a predriver 30 and a microcomputer 56. The predriver 30 receives its differentiation signal to form a signal for operating a driver 40, and a microcomputer 51 detects the rotating speed and position of a rotor by the signal from the processor 56. |
