PURPOSE:To shorten the whole operation time by simultaneously executing data input processing and processing for outputting data to a host device through a memory. CONSTITUTION:Various transaction information is inputted from a keyboard 1 to an input processing part 2, which executes input processing while displaying the inputted transaction information and operating instruction for an operator on a display 3. When the operator depresses an input completion key, the names of commodities, unit prices, the total amount, change, etc. are printed out on a receipt or a slip through a receipt printer 4 or a slip printer 5 and the input data are stored in a memory 6 to receive the succeeding data input. An output processing part 7 always checks the contents of the memory 6, and when the storage of data from the input processing part 2 to the memory 6 is completed, transmits the contents of the memory 6 to a circuit 10 through an interface 9 and prints out the transaction information to a journal printer 8 to indicate the completion of the transaction. |
