Device for setting valves for fluids in a vehicle. The setting takes place as a function of a mechanical set value generator with a potentiometer (4). The potentiometer (4) is connected via a capacitor (6) to a monoflop circuit (8) to whose trigger input a clock signal generator (12) is connected. One output (16) of the monoflop circuit (18) is connected to a constant current amplifier (20) whose output signal serves to adjust an electromagnetic valve (24) for the fluid. As a result, displacement experienced by the set value generator is immediately converted into a pressure change of the fluid without conversion into a different distance being required and without changes of the electrical resistance of the electromagnetic valve in the case of temperature changes undesirably altering the valve setting. <IMAGE>
