DISTANCE MEASUREMENT AND PHOTOMETRY SWITCHING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To take a measurement of distance and a photometry by a simple structure with high accuracy and to form a photometric area in an easy-to-use shape by providing a submirror behind a main mirror so that the submirror is displaceable selectively between a distance measurement position and a photometric position and guiding light to a photodetecting element for distance measurement and a photodetecting element for photometry. CONSTITUTION:A switching operation member 51 for switching between the distance measurement and photometry is constituted so that it is operated optionally from outside. A conductor pattern is provided to a switch substrate 55B which constitutes a circuit changeover switch 55 together with a brush 55A and electric switching operation is performed through the operation of the switching operation member 51. Mode switching information from a distance measurement/photometry switching part 81 including the circuit switch 55 associated with the switching operation member 51 and signals from the photodetecting element 82 for distance measurement which measure the distance by photodetecting part of subject light transmitted through the main mirror 1 and then reflected by the submirror 6 and the photodetecting element 83 for photometry are inputted to a control circuit device 80 to operate a proper exposure value and object distance on the basis of those input signals.
