<p>In the device an unknown angular displacement of a mobile member (3) with respect to a fixed member (2) is calculated by passing a constant speed index (7) before a pair of sensors respectively integral to said fixed and mobile members. The sensor output signals are used to open a reference and anknown time intervals, wherein the number of pulses coming from a known frequency source is counted. The number of these pulses is therefore proportional to the known reference angle and to the unknown angular displacement and it is easy to obtain from these values the measure of the unknown angular displacement. The device is particularly suitable to be installed as transducer in a balance particularly of the pendulum-weight or counterweight type, in view of its low cost, not complex structure and high precision.</p> |
