PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a trouble arising from the hooking of an ink ribbon, by feeding a film ribbon preventing the direct contact of a printing pin with the ink ribbon made of cloth at the time of printing between a printing head and the ink ribbon make of cloth independently of the ink ribbon made of cloth. CONSTITUTION:A ribbon feed motor 14 is held to a carrier 3 and the ribbon feed roller 7 is a ribbon cartridge 1 is rotationally driven through the joint 6 provided to the upper end of a motor shaft and an ink ribbon 10 made of cloth is fed together with the pinch roller 9 pressed to said roller 7 by a tension spring 8 to be recirculated in the ribbon cartridge 1. A film ribbon 1 is stored in chamber (b) and fed by the ribbon feed roller 15 and the pinch roller 13 driven by the ribbon feed motor 14 through a gear row and recirculated along the inner periphery of the ink ribbon 10 make of cloth and runs between the ink ribbon 10 made of cloth and the printing pin 12 of a printing head 2 in the ribbon exposed part (c) of the ribbon cartridge 1. |
