The process uses HPLC and electrochemical identification methods, and is characterized by the insertion of a sample containing one or several compounds to be determined on an HPLC column, the sample being eluted with a suitable elution means. The eluate is then passed through a mini-column filled with a carrier substance to which immobilized oxidases and possibly other enzymes are linked, the pH of the eluate not being modified, after which the enzyme-oxidized or -reduced compound in the solution which emerges from the mini-column is quantitatively determined by electrochemical detection.
