The invention relates to the arrangement of a unit comprising a soot filter and an exhaust turbocharger in the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, to the exhaust manifold of which a connecting pipe of the soot filter, which is arranged axially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the internal combustion engine is connected.
