<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a radar target tracking data with a high reliability, by using different correlation criteria utilizing the difference in the reliability between primary and secondary radar targets to determine the correlation at the tracking stage. CONSTITUTION:A primary radar target detector 1 receives the input of primary radar information (a) to generate the primary radar target (b) from the correlation with a radar sweep. A secondary radar target detector 2 receives the input of secondary radar information (d) and outputs the secondary radar target (e) expressed by coordinate positions. The signals (b) and (e) are memorized into a buffer memory 6. The contents of the memory 6 are given on a correspondence table memory 7 corresponding to the contents of a target tracking data memory 8 and the correlation is determined with a correlation decision unit 11. When correlation holds, the tracking reliability factor rises and otherwise, it falls. As the factor falls below a fixed value, the tracking data is erased from the memory 8. This enables a higher correlation success rate for true tracking data suppressing the generation false tracking data thereby assuring a highly accurate tracking data.</p> |
