Described are compositions consisting of a dioctyl tin mercaptide, a zinc salt of a fatty acid such as zinc stearate and a conventional phosphite ester stabilizer. These compositions are effective in stabilizing PVC resins. The stabilized PVC resins exhibit excellent color, clarity and stability against discoloration.
