This lifting-type sectional door comprises a plurality of mutually parallel strip-like door elements 1, 1' which are connected to one another on their longitudinal sides by means of border profiles 5, 5' which interengage in a hinge-like manner, it being the case that the door slides in lateral guide rails 4, which guide the door from a vertical closed position, via a curve, into a horizontal open position, and each border profile, in the region of the inside of the door, has a hinge part 9, 9' projecting from a base 6, 6', it being the case that said base is formed by that part of the border profile which butts against the end sides of adjacent door elements and is fastened on the same. In order to avoid injury as a result of fingers getting trapped between the door elements, it is provided that the base 6, 6' of each border profile 5, 5' has a surface 12, 12', which slopes up slightly from the outside of the door to the hinge part 9, 9', and, with elements 1, 1' aligned in one plane, a spacing d is left between the slightly upwardly sloping, mutually facing surfaces 12, 12' of two adjacent border profiles 5, 5', said spacing preventing fingers from getting trapped. <IMAGE> |
