PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of the whole PCM terminal station device by lowering an answer monitor current down to a working current that a monitor relay has once confirming that a line enters a talking state. CONSTITUTION:The control circuit of a PCM terminal station device connected to an origination side exchange trunk sends a control signal to a control terminal 24 when confirming a called subscriber answer signal, and a signal converting circuit receiving it sends out an answer signal to the origination side exchange trunck connected to terminals 18 and 19 through a polarity inverting circuit 26. Then, the control circuit sends a control signal to a control terminal 25 a fixed time after and a constant current circuit 27 receives it and lowers the answer monitor signal down to the working current of the monitor relay of the origination side exchange trunk. Consequently, a waste of the power consumption in the PCM terminal station device is reduced. |
