A lock mechanism is provided for locking a wall (11) to a base in a material transporter. The mechanism is preferably located at a box-form socket (9) receiving a leg (10B) of the wall (11) and comprises a rotary indent member (13) rotatable in one direction by the leg during insertion of the leg in the socket and a movable securing bar (19) spring urged to prevent movement of rotary member (13) in the other rotary direction and so lock the leg 10B in position in the socket (9).
