The invention provides fungicidal compositions comprising as an active ingredient a compound having the general formula (I): <IMAGE> (I) or a stereoisomer thereof, wherein X is a methylene group and Y is an oxygen atom, or X is an oxygen atom and Y is a methylene or CHOH group; R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, are hydrogen or halogen atoms, or alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl, or haloalkoxy groups; R3 and R4, which may be the same or different, are alkyl groups containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, or -NR3R4 is a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring, optionally substituted by alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, hydroxy, alkoxy or aryloxy groups; or an acid addition salt of such a compound. |
