PURPOSE:To reduce a scattered color, by circularly arranging a plural combination of anodes for light-emission of three elementary colors, having three anodes in each combination, at the periphery of a cathode, and forming each of phosphor films, which emit three elementary colored light, peripherally in repetitive successions on an inner wall of a discharge tube. CONSTITUTION:A glass-made cylinder 23 is arranged standing in the central part of a globe 22, with a cathode 24 mounted on a substrate 21. A plural combination of anodes 25 for light-emission of three elementary colors, red- green-blue, having three anodes in each combination, are circularly arranged at equal intervals in the peripheral direction on a substrate 21 outside the cylinder 23. Besides, three kinds of phosphor films 26, emitting three-elementary colored light corresponding to the anodes 25, are formed having each of them painted at equal areas in succession on the inner wall surfaces of the globe 22. With a lighting controller housed in a cover 27, positive columns are moved by successively exchanging electricity applied to each anode 25. Therefore, light-emission at many places of the inner tube walls enables a scattered color to be reduced when the color tone is controlled. |
