PURPOSE:To improve the raw stock preservability of a thermally developable photosensitive material, the reactivity of a dye providing substance with a reducing agent in the photosensitive material and the transferrability of an image forming dye by incorporating a specified compound into the photosensitive material having photosensitive silver halide and a binder besides the dye providing substance and the reducing agent. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by the formula is incorporated into a thermally developable photosensitive material having photosensitive silver halide, a dye providing substance, a reducing agent and a binder on the support. In the formula, R is straight or branched chain alkyl, preferably 1-8C alkyl such as methyl or ethyl, cycloalkyl such as cyclohexyl or cyclophentyl, alkenyl such as allyl or 2-propynyl, aryl such as phenyl or naphthyl, or a heterocyclic group such as pyridyl or furyl, and the group represented by R may have a substituent. |
