PURPOSE:To prevent large repulsive stress from being kept in a wound wire by a method wherein the wire is forcibly wound in coils before being wound around an inner pipe so as to get used to winding itself in a coil, the diameter of which lies within the range of D-30-D+5(%) with respect to the outer diameter D of the inner pipe. CONSTITUTION:An inner pipe 1 is rotatably transferred in the direction indicated with the arrow A by means of a plurality of rotatably transferring belt devices 12 and 12', both of which make a vertical pair and locate in the positional relationship so as to mutually cross with the inner pipe and consequently a wire 2 is helically wound onto the surface of the inner pipe. The wire 2 is wound off from a drum 3, which is driven by a driving motor 10, so as to be forcibly sent through a dance roll 4 by means of a pair of pinch rolls 5 into a coil-shaped habit-forming device 6 in order to be wound onto the inner pipe by being sent out of the device 6 by the winding force to the inner pipe. The pipe, onto which the wire is wound, is sent ahead so as to be finished into a flexible pipe by being wound with strip extruded from an extruder and resin tape. The coil-shaped habit-forming device consists, for example, of a coil-shaped hollow pipe 6, by passing through which the wire is given a coiled shape having the same direction as that of winding onto the inner pipe before the winding onto the inner pipe. |
