PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a vertical head and the yield by providing a yoke plate made of plural high permeability materials to form a floating parallel magnetic field on a surface of a head support board in a prescribed direction thereby controlling the direction of a magnetic anisotropy of a main magnetic pole into a constant direction. CONSTITUTION:The yoke plates 8, 8' made of high permeability materials are arranged in parallel onto a base holder 6. The direction of the floating magnetic field near the surface of a base 7 serving as a head support base led through the provision of the yoke plates 8, 8' is a form as shown in the figure, and when a high-permeability magnetic thin film is adhered onto the base 7, a parallel magnetic field in a direction clipped by the yokes is applied to the part. Thus, the high-permeability film having a magnetic anisotropy in a predetermined direction is formed, and the reliability and yield of the main magnetic pole are improved. |
