PURPOSE:To prevent the wrinkle of recording paper, the bleeding or tailing or a recording agent, and the like by a method wherein a required pattern area is selectively or selectively and reversibly formed on a surface of a member having a surface reducing in retracting contact angle, and this pattern is made visible and uncontactedly transferred to plain paper or the like. CONSTITUTION:A recording body (A) 7 is provided with a surface reducing in retracting contact angle in contact with a liquid under heat on a substrate. The surface of the recording body 7 is heated in accordance with image signals by a thermal head 41 while being in contact with coloring ink 3a. The forming of a latent image and the developing operation are simultaneously conducted. Positive or negative electric charges are applied to the coloring ink 3a adhering to the latent image part of the recording body 7 by a charger 10. Succeedingly, when the electrified ink reaches a point A as the recording body 7 rotates, a static electricity larger than the adhesion between the recording body 7 and the electrified ink is generated between the electrified ink and a back electrode 81 to ensure the uncontact transfer of the electrified ink to recording paper P disposed separately from the recording body 7. |
