RAYON FIBER HAVING EXCELLENT LIGHT FASTNESS

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fiber having remarkably improved light fastness and excellent thermal discoloration resistance, by supporting a fluorescent dye on fine particles of a benzoguanamine resin and adding the particles to viscose before spinning. CONSTITUTION:Fine particles of a benzoguanamine resin supporting a fluorescent dye are produced e.g. by coloring uncured benzoguanamine resin with a fluorescent dye, curing the aqueous emulsion of the colored resin particles with a curing catalyst and separating and drying the product. The particles having a particle diameter of preferably 0.4mu are dispersed in water in the presence of an anionic surfactant and added to viscose. The objective fiber can be produced by spinning the viscose added with the particles.
