PURPOSE:To reduce the numbers of working and assembling steps by dividing a case into a plurality of case members, and integrally fusion-bonding a stator core when fusion-bonding the divided surfaces of the members. CONSTITUTION:A case 10 of circular section is formed of a pair of case members 12a, 12b of semicircular section parallel to the central axis line of the case 10. A groove 16 of substantially V shape is formed on the divided surfaces 14 of the members 12a, 12b. A gap 24 is formed in the portion opposed to a portion except the groove 15, i.e., a stator core. The core 20 is fusion-bonded integrally when fusion-bonding the divided surfaces of the members 12a, 12b. |
