<p>This screw conveyor is used for conveying the materials from an area under atmospheric pressure into an area under increased pressure. It is provided that the screw tube (3) is lined by means of an exchangeable sleeve (4) which consists of flexible, abrasion-resistant material and on which the thread (7) of the screw conveyor essentially rests. In this arrangement, the conveyor cross-section narrows at least in the region of the discharge end of the screw conveyor. The screw tube (3) and/or the screw shaft (6) with the thread (7) of the screw conveyor are arranged such that they can be axially displaced. <IMAGE></p> |
