PURPOSE:To facilitate the electronic design or structure of control means by carrying out both forward pressure control and torque converter control by one common solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:A shuttle valve 5 by which the first position is taken by the forward first speed gear and the second position is taken by the other forward speed change gears is provided. Further, by this shuttle valve 5, in the first position, the decrease of forward pressure can be enabled by a solenoid valve 9, and a torque converter 8 is made so as to maintain a converter condition in which the relative rotation between input/output elements is not restricted. On the other hand, in the second position, it is so arranged that the restriction of relative rotation is enabled by the solenoid valve 9 and the decreasing control of forward pressure is inhibited. By this constitution, electronic design or structure of control means can be facilitated. |
