PURPOSE:To improve shelf stability and curability, by blending an alcohol, an alkoxysilane or partial hydrolyzate thereof and an organotin compd. with a compsn. consisting of a diorganopolysiloxane, a filler, a crosslinking agent and a curing aid. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. component A, 0-10pts.wt. component B, 0-50pts.wt. component C and 0.01-10pts.wt. component D are blended together. Component A is a compsn. consisting of 100pts.wt. hydroxyl or dialkoxy group-terminated diorganopolysiloxane (a), 1-400pts.wt. filler (b), an at least equimolar amount [based on the amount of hydroxyl groups and water contained in components (a) and (b)] of an organosilane (c) of formula I [wherein R<1> is methyl, ethyl, etc.; X is a group of formula II (wherein R<2>, R<3> are each H, methyl, etc.); n is 0, 1] or partial hydrolyzate (c) (crosslinking agent) and 0.01-10pts.wt. silane or siloxane (d) (curing aid) contg. a group of formula III. Component B is an alcohol of formula IV. Component C is an alkoxysilane of formula V or partial hydrolyzate thereof. Component D is an organotin compd.
