PURPOSE:To remotely control opening or closing of a damper, by providing an opening or closing drive plate consisting of a bimetal and a heat generating member and also providing a permanent magnet for maintaining the opening or closing of the damper. CONSTITUTION:A damper A is pivotably mounted to one end of an arm 1 by a pin 2. The arm 1 is formed at the other end thereof with a pair of opening driven portion 1a and closing driven portion 1b which are arranged in spaced relationship from each other. An opening drive plate p and a closing drive plate q each consisting of a bimetal 7 and a heat generating member 8 are provided in a case 3 in such a manner that each free end of the drive plates is positioned between the opening driven portion 1a and the closing driven portion 1b. A permanent magnet p' for maintaining an opening position and a permanent magnet q' for maintaining a closing position are provided on a bottom portion 3a in such a manner that an attracted portion 1c is interposed therebetween. |
