PURPOSE:To obtain a satisfactory vibration damping effect which has a less possibility of resonance but has a very small vibration transmissibility, by stacking magnets in several stories, alternately, such that their same kind poles are opposed to each other and alternately stacked in several stories. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of ring-like magnets 6 are fitted on a shaft 3 of a stool on which a vibration source 1 is set, and further, a plurality of ring-like magnets 5 are disposed in a stationary box 4. The magnets 6, 5 are alternately arranged and their same kind poles are opposed to each other. Accordingly, even if the shaft 3 is displaced due to vibration, a force for recovering the equilibrium position is always effected. |
