PURPOSE:To reduce torque shock at the time of fuel cutting in the power transmitting condition of a driving system, prevent after-burn at the time of fuel cutting in a non-transmitting condition, and restrain fuel cutting at the time of speed changing operation for insurance of acceleration quality after speed changing in performing deceleration fuel cutting. CONSTITUTION:For cutting fuel by a fuel cutting means B with a deceleration fuel cutting condition is satisfied, after the delay time which is set by a delay time setting means C passes, the delay time setting means C sets delay time, based on the first characteristics of setting the delay time more shortly in a non-transmitting condition than in a power transmitting condition of a driving system F, and the second characteristics of setting delay time, immediately after the power transmitting condition is transferred to the non-transmitting condition, longer than the delay time in the non-transmitting condition. |
