PURPOSE:To obtain a treating device capable of effectively removing much NOx in waste combustion gas by adopting a specified structure. CONSTITUTION:A device for treating waste gas with glow discharge plasma is composed essentially of an electric insulating cylindrical reactor 13 with both ends open, a movable central electrode 6 fitted parallel to the wall of the reactor 13 and capable of being set at the center of the reactor 13 and a spiral external electrode 15 fitted to the outside of the reactor 13.
