PURPOSE:To improve fall characteristics on the OFF of a high-voltage output by short-circuiting both tips of a winding for a boosting means by a resistor having a predetermined value on the OFF time of a high-voltage output. CONSTITUTION:A switching transistor 13 connected in series with a primary winding 9 for a transformer 9 for boosting is controlled by a remote control circuit C for the ON-OFF of a power output. Voltage induced in a secondary winding 15 for the transformer 9 is applied to load 12 through a capacitor 10 for resonance. Switching circuits A, B shorten the fall time on the OFF of a high-voltage output, a transistor 24 in the circuit B and a transistor 35 in the circuit C are turned ON, and the primary winding 14 for the transformer 9 is short-circuited through a winding 29, thus rapidly consuming energy stored in the transformer 9 by the resistor 29. |
