A slat with a changing color capability utilizes a conventional slat (1), to which a plurality of layers of covering (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) identical to the slat (1) are affixed by means of glue so that each layer (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) is detachable to change color or pattern as desired.
