The standardized curtain wall unit is for use with other similar units to provide a curtain wall assembly capable of room temp. control. The curtain wall unit comprises a number of frame members(14,16,18,20) joined into a rectangular shape, defining openings which are closed by double glazing panes. All the frame members are of identical cross-sectional shape, with a passageway (48) for a heat transfer fluid and a mounting recess (50) formed longitudinally through each in side-by-side relation to each other. The passageway is disposed inwardly of recess and is open outwardly.
