The invention relates to a device for segregating metal parts from a moving stream of conveyed material, for example ground or granular material, with the assistance of a metal detector and an actuating mechanism, controlled by the metal detector, for a segregating element which can be transferred into two final positions, in one of which it releases a conveying piece and in the other of which it closes and simultaneously opens an ejection piece through which the metal part falls out. In order to ensure that a minimum amount of acceptable material is segregated together with the metal particles, it is proposed to mount a further metal detector on the ejection piece, by means of which detector the operating mechanism is actuated and the segregating element is reset when a metal particle which has activated the first metal detector enters the reaction zone of the second metal detector, i.e. has been segregated. <IMAGE> |
