PURPOSE:To handle precisely an original mounting position and to eliminate the formation of an unnecessary blank when original information is absent or when no additional information is recorded during the recording of additional information by arranging a display part for additional information on a platen cover, and providing a scale plate with a transparent plate movably. CONSTITUTION:The liquid-crystal display part 26 is arranged on the reverse surface of he platen cover 3 and at the position corresponding to the position on the top surface of an original glass table 2 adjoining to the scale plate, and the transparent plate 77 is provided rotatably to the scale plate 25 through a hinge 76. When the additional information is entered into a copy image together with original information, an optional display is made on the display part 26 and the transparent plate 77 stacked on the top surface of the scale plate 25 is rotated to cover the top surface of the original glass table 2; and the original is mounted on the original glass table 2 while its front end abuts on the transparent plate 77 and the original is covered with the platen cover 3, so that the contents of the display part 26 reach the original glass table 2 through the transparent plate 77. |
