PURPOSE:To prevent a tip from falling off, by mounting the tip to the saw body of a circular saw while providing a groove in a part corresponding to a junction surface in a tip side with the saw body and welding the tip to be mounted to the saw body. CONSTITUTION:A tip 4 made of cemented carbide forms a groove 6 in a bottom surface 5 facing to a mounting surface 3 in a tooth part 2. The shape of said groove is not limited but only required for increasing a mounting contact area with the tooth part 2. The tip 4 is mounted to the tooth part 2 of a saw body 1 by fitting the groove 6 to the mounting surface 3 and surrounded by a mounting device not shown in the drawing, and a circular saw, using a brazing material or an adhesive material and the like, is formed by welding in the publicly known method. The circular saw, increasing a welded area while holding force because of the above described groove, reduces falling off of the tip. |
