PURPOSE:To provide the titled transfer foil rich in three-dimensional feeling, by sequentially laminating a releasable layer and a transparent colored layer on one side of a synthetic resin base film, providing a vapor-deposited layer thereon, and providing thereon an adhesive layer having the same shape as that of the vapor-deposited layer and a specified thickness. CONSTITUTION:The releasable layer 2 consisting of a synthetic resin or an admixture thereof with a releasing agent is laminated on one side of the base film 1 formed from polypropylene, a polyester or the like. The colored layer 3 consisting of a synthetic resin or an admixture thereof with a coloring agent is laminated on the releasable layer 2, and the vapor-deposited layer 4 consisting of aluminum and having the shape of characters or a pattern is partially provided on the layer 3. The adhesive layer 5 consisting of a synthetic resin and having the same size and shape as those of the layer 4 is provided on the layer 4, in a thickness of 10-30mum. When transfer is conducted on a molded article 6 by using the transfer foil thus obtained, the adhesive layer 5, the vapor- deposited metallic layer 4, the colored layer 3 and the releasable layer 2 in a predetermined shape are transferred onto the surface of the article 6, resulting in a metallic luster part which is raised and rich in three-dimensional feeling. |
