PURPOSE:To prevent toner filming on a photosensitive body, deterioration of image density, and occurrence of fogging phenomenon by incorporating a fine powder containing a toner powder and a fluorinated alkylacrylic type polymer having an average particle diameter smaller than that of the toner. CONSTITUTION:The developer contains a fine powder composed of a toner powder and a fluorinated alkylacrylic (FAA) type polymer having an average particle diameter smaller than that of the toner powder, and as such a FAA type polymer, the FAA homopolymer and FAA copolymers, and cores made of other resins and coated with said FAA homopolymer or copolymer are enumerated, and it is desirable from the viewpoint of its cost to use the fine particles coated with at least the FAA type polymer on the surface. Further, it is preferred to use a fine powder obtained by soapfree polymerization. The use of such a toner permits the toner filming on the photosensitive body or the like and poor cleaning to be prevented, and further, deterioration of image density and fogging phenomenon due to deterioration of triboelectrification characteristics to be inhibited for a long period. |
