PURPOSE:To obtain the title body having an improved electron photographic characteristics such as a photosensitivity, a memory and an residual potential by incorporatig a prescribed electron acceptor to a photosensitive layer comprising a carrier generating substance, a carrier transporting substance and a binder, and by specifying the value of the electron affinity of the electron acceptor. CONSTITUTION:The title body comprises the quinone type electron acceptor which has 0.4-1.2eV the electron affinity and contains a compd. shown by formula I or II wherein Z is an (unsatd.) satd. aromatic hydrocarbon ring or an aromatic heterocyclic ring residue, R is an (unsatd.) satd. aralkyl or aryl group, (n) is 0-2, in an amount of <=1 times mol on the mole basis of the carrier transfer material (CTM) to the photosensitive layer having a monolayer structure and composed of the carrier generating substance (CGM), the binder and the CTM or a laminated photosensitive layer composed of an lower layer of the carrier transfer layer contg. the CTM and the binder and an upper layer (a surface layer) of the carrier generating layer contg. the CGM and the binder and optionally, the CTM. As a stable charge transfer complex is formed between the prescribed quinone compd. and the CTM, the title body having the improved photosensitivity and the excellent positively electrifiable photographic characteristics is obtd. |
