PURPOSE:To realize a novel developing carrier high in electrostatic charging speed and good in surface stain resistance by coating a core material with a fluorinated alkylacrylic polymer, and an acrylic polymer having rubber elasticity at normal temperature. CONSTITUTION:The developing carrier prepared by coating the core material with a fluorinated alkylacrylic polymer and an acrylic polymer having rubber elasticity at normal temperature is high in electrostatic charging speed and does not suffer deterioration of charge during running, thus permitting early occurrence of fog and staining in the inside of the copying machine to be prevented, adhesion between the core material and the coat layer to be superior, peeling due to the internal breakdown of the coat layer not to be found, mechanical strength to be high, the life of the carrier as well as the life of the developer to be extended. |
