摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To perform measurement within a short time, by mounting an operational controller for calculating the concn. of the org. substance in raw water on the basis of the concn. of activated sludge and the concn. of dissolved oxygen measured by a MLSS meter and emitting alarm output. CONSTITUTION:Raw water sent to an aeration chamber 14 receives air bubbling through air piping 19 to be brought to an oversaturation state and sent to a respiration speed measuring chamber 15 from oversaturated raw water piping 24 while return sludge is sent to said measuring chamber 15 from a sedimentation tank through return sludge piping 21. When the respiration speed measuring chamber 5 is filled with raw water, a relay switch 27 is operated through a float 26 not only to close valves 28, 22 but also to stop a pump 23 and connected to an operational controller 31 to stop the inflow of raw water. Thereafter, the concn. of dissolved oxygen and the concn. of the activated sludge are measured by a DO meter 29 and a MLSS meter 32 to calculate the concn. of the org. substance in raw water and treated water is discharged by the indication of the operational controller 31.</p>
