OPTICAL SCANNING MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To execute precisely optical scanning without influence due to backlash or an error in working by moving one member on the optical transmission side or on the optical reception side by a cam mechanism having revel differences corresponding to optical scanning pitches. CONSTITUTION:A 1.5mm level difference is formed every 22.5 deg. angle on the cam surface of a cylindrical cam 27 with 60mm outer diameter and 45mm inner diameter and respective plane parts forming respective level differences are coupled with each other at respective inclination parts. The interval (t) between the centers of respective level differences is set up so as to coincide with the arraying interval of respective optical fibers. The cylindrical cam 27 is connected to a uniform light irradiation rod group to constitute a uniform light irradiation rod scanner. Consequently, a scanning mirror 22 and a condenser lens 23 are moved together with a pedestal 29.
