A bag for receiving and pouring out a liquid material, having a front and a back which are heat-bonded or heat-sealed to one another along their longitudinal edges, and having a heat-bonded or heat-sealed zone at the base. Furthermore, the bag has an additional heat-bonded or heat-sealed seal arranged below the upper seal, which results in an outlet channel between the two seals, the additional heat-bonded or heat-sealed seal beginning at one of the longitudinal edges and ending with spacing from the opposite longitudinal edge such that a passage opening remains which is in flow connection with the outlet channel. The cross-section and the height of the outlet channel are such that capillary forces occur which prevent the liquid flowing out in a horizontal position without manual pressure. Furthermore, the bag has a tear-off zone, below whose lowest edge the additional heat-bonded or heat-sealed seal is arranged.
