Cigarette holder having an insert supporting a partition. The partition divides the inside of the tip into two spaces. The spaces are connected to one another by narrow bores provided in the partition. If the smoke-bearing air is sucked up through the narrow bores, the air behind the partition is cooled and the harmful ingredients of the smoke are deposited as a condensate on a deflecting surface arranged downstream, and furthermore on the inside wall of the chamber situated behind the partition and, possibly, on an insert supported by the partition. <IMAGE>
