摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce a ground facility and to enhance the operating efficiency of a self-traveling vehicle by constructing the guide rains of the vehicle of a signal closure zone for controlling to operate only a vehicle and a freely traveling zone for operating a plurality of vehicles. CONSTITUTION:Branch units 5, 6 and their exit zones control the operation of only one self-traveling vehicle as independent signal closure zones 8A, 8B, 9, 10, 11A, 11B, 12A, 12B. A controller 15 outputs a control signal to each signal closure zone in response to the self-traveling vehicle existing state in the signal enclosure zone and the state of the destination of the branch unit. The zones except the signal enclosure zones are freely traveling zones 13A, 13B, 14A, 14B for allowing the travel of a plurality of vehicles. A proximity sensor for detecting an obstacle is provided in the vehicle, thereby preventing the vehicle from colliding by the sensor.</p>
